Ippu Mitsui is an Indie Electronic Music Producer and solo artist based in Tokyo, Japan. He is also a self-taught multi-instrumentalist. He began producing electronic music exclusively using computers and programming (DAW) around 2010. He now also plays and uses various MIDI-Pads, Drum Machines, Sampling Machines and other electronic software and hardware tools. He has been particularly impressed by the music works, musical sense and personality of some female music producers and DJs and their influences have gradually altered his musical style and worldview. He continues to explore a wide genre of electronic music. Ippu has been producing all his music including collaborative works from his home-based studio in suburban Tokyo since 2012. He launched his own independent record label Pure Spark Records in June 2019.
